It goes like this:
Send your gently worn Schone Maternity clothes back to us (see Contact Us for address).  We will clean and repair the clothes as needed before bringing them to Momma’s House (www.mommashouse.org), one of the many respectable organizations in our area who work hard to provide crucial support to young mothers.

As a “Thank You” we will send you a hand woven, richly hand dyed silk scarf from Laos.  Laos is a stunning, atmospheric country, whose people are utterly gentle and respectful.  Their country, which lies west of Vietnam and east of Thailand, has been torn apart by war almost constantly up until 1975 and sporatically during the ‘80s.  They have been building themselves up since then, but drought and lack of infrastructure keeps them as one of the 10 poorest countries in the world, with a literacy rate of only 53%.
The money we pay for these scarves go directly to the artisans who make them.
